As you can see we have redesigned the NAU Ice Jacks web site to add functionality and a fresh new look. Over the summer we will add more pages, information and player photos. So check back often to catch up on the latest Ice Jacks news!! The next Ice Jacks function is our pre-season team meeting in the Student Center on campus at Northern Arizona University on Thursday August 27th, 2009 at 6:00 PM. All advanced hockey players who are full time students at NAU may attend. The coaches will go over team rules and regulations, give an overview of the tryout process and cover the team game and practice schedule. Tryouts will be held September 2nd, and 4th at 8:15 PM at Jay Lively Ice Arena and 4:30 PM September 5th. The cost for the tryout is $100.00 per player.
ICE JACKS MOVE TO DIVISION II
The NAU Ice Jacks Hockey Club has announced the move to ACHA Division II for the 2009-2010 season. The Ice Jacks have put together a very competitive Division II schedule consisting of 32 games. The Ice Jacks will play top teams in the Pacific including UNLV, San Diego State, Utah State, Colorado, San Jose State and others. Please go to the schedule page for game dates and times. The Ice Jacks will begin their season September 25th and 26th at Jay Lively Ice Arena in Flagstaff, Arizona vs. Division III Fresno State. Home games are scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM Friday and Saturday evenings. Be there or listen to the games on KJACK Radio.
ICE JACKS TO UNVIEL NEW UNIFORMSThe Northern Arizona University Ice Jacks will unveil their new uniforms at home September 25th and 26th, 2009 vs. Fresno State. NAU has gone back to their former blue and gold colors with the crest trimmed in sage. NAU will wear both home and away sweaters that first home weekend in September 2009 vs. FSU.
